Big Green Ideas Day aims to inspire residents to go green.
The Point is throwing open its doors to Eastleigh residents on 26 April when the very best of ideas on how to go green are being showcased.
The event, dubbed the Big Green Ideas Day, is asking residents to join the theatre as we connect and inspire our community to take small but mighty environmental actions together.
The day which takes place between 10am and 3pm, features a vibrant gathering of ideas and individuals committed to sustainability, featuring our ‘Marketplace of Change’ with stalls showcasing eco-friendly practices and products.
As part of the event, we will also run our popular Give and Take Exchange.
Items accepted: children and adults’ clothes, shoes, accessories, toys, books, puzzles, bric-a-brac, CDs, DVDs, bedding, curtains, crockery, and pictures.
Electrical items are not accepted.
The *Give* event runs between 10am - 11.30am with take between 1pm - 3pm.
Attendees can also enjoy engaging in arts and crafts activities.

As part of this day, you can also see the beautiful family puppetry show Stories in the Dust at 11am and 2pm. A funny, heartfelt and hopeful eco-fable featuring live music and puppetry that takes you to another world. Stories in the Dust is a ticketed live performance. Find out more and book tickets below:
